IV Nutrient and Ozone Therapy

Intravenous Nutrient Therapy (IV Nutrient Therapy) is a method of using modern science combined with natural healing agents to assist the body in the prevention and treatment of illness. Nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants, and other healing substances are infused directly into the bloodstream. Since the digestive system is bypassed, one can achieve significantly higher levels of nutrients into the bloodstream and ultimately to the cells of the body where they are utilized most effectively.

Medical Ozone Therapy: We also offer ozone infusions, also known as autohemotherapy. This involves a process where blood is drawn from the patient and stored in a sterile medical IV infusion container. Then medical-grade ozone (composed of 3 oxygen atoms) is infused into the stored blood. The oxygen-rich blood is then infused back into the patient’s vein where it travels throughout the body. The benefits include improved oxygenation of cells, improved energy production, stimulation of the body’s own antioxidant systems, stimulation of stem cells, improved immunity, and improved circulation.

High Dose Intravenous Vitamin C: Intravenous vitamin C has been studied for the integrative treatment of infections, tissue healing, and supportive therapy for people with cancer. IV therapy allows for high blood levels of vitamin C that the oral ingestion of vitamin C cannot attain.

Chelation Therapy: Chelation therapy refers to binding toxic metals such as lead, mercury, arsenic, aluminum, and others. Different chelating agents can be used in IV form to assist the body in binding and removing storage levels of toxic metals. The use of a formula containing the chelating substance known as EDTA was assessed as an alternative approach to treating coronary artery disease. The study, known as The Trial to Assess Chelation Therapy (TACT), was sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine. While different endpoints were assessed, those receiving a series of chelation (830 people) had significantly lower death rates, heart attack, and angina at five years compared to those receiving a placebo.

TAILORED TREATMENT

IV therapies and doses recommended to patients depend on the condition a patient has and their state of health. Examples of nutrients used include:
Vitamin C
Magnesium
B vitamins
Glutathione
Calcium
Iron
NAD
other substances.

LENGTH OF TREATMENT

Treatment time can vary. Time can vary from 30 minutes to two hours. Patients sit or recline back in a lounge style lounge-style chair during their medically supervised treatment in San Diego.

TESTING

Blood and urine testing are completed before initiating IV therapy. Repeat testing may be required during courses of repeated treatments.

SAFETY

IV therapy is quite safe. Potential side effects are reviewed with patients. There is constant supervision while patients receive IV therapy.
